Film / TV / VideoPre-recorded content presented on Film, TV and Video is dependant upon consumer acceptance as the determinant of success. Historically, that acceptance has been measured in box office receipts, ratings and DVD units sold. Today, however, consumers are changing the way they watch content by spending increasing amounts of time (and money) online and on their mobile phone and by requiring more content be made available "on demand”. These shifts represent a challenge for every segment of the entertainment industry from creative to production to distribution.
We have assembled a panel of industry veterans representing content production, distribution and, of course, the money, to present their viewpoints on how these shifts are affecting the way they do business and what further changes they see on the horizon.
